Lonyè and Darion met on the campus of Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois during the Homecoming week of 2017. They were hanging out together at the frat house and started a friendship vibe that grew into the love you see today! Lonyè and Darion grew their friendship for years getting to know each other and exploring interests with each other. They went from hanging out on campus to talking on the phone every night. Then from watching movies on FaceTime together and trying to match up the perfect start time to visiting each other in their home cities of Saint Louis, MO and Chicago, IL. In 2021 they made their relationship official and moved in together in St. Louis before taking their talents down south to Pearland, TX in 2022. Lonyè and Darion have since continued to grow together and are working on continuing their forever journey. Darion proposed to Lonyè on November 16, 2024 and to his honor, she said YES!!! Now we get to see what exciting new adventures Lonyè and Darion embark on with this new chapter of their lives. Thank you for joining us in welcoming the Bakers into their forever union!
