Born and raised in Greene, Maine, Sydney moved to Florida in 2014 to attend Florida State University. After graduating, she made her way to the Tampa Bay area to be closer to her mom and begin a new chapter of life. Like many people, 2020 brought uncertainty — but it also brought new beginnings, including a growing career, a new home, and a new circle of people. Originally from Manchester, New Hampshire, Dario moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2020 looking for a fresh start of his own. What began as a visit to see friends quickly turned into something more permanent as he launched his career in real estate and embraced life in Florida. As one chapter in Lakeland came to an end, Dario started looking farther south for his next place to land. In an unexpected twist of fate, Dario’s mom reached out to an old high school classmate she knew had also moved to Florida — Sydney’s mom. She offered Dario a place to stay while he searched for something more permanent. Two months later, though he didn’t know it yet, Dario had already found home. What started as casual conversations in the living room when Sydney stopped by after work to pick up her dog slowly turned into late-night drives, dinner dates, endless laughter, and a connection neither of us expected. Somewhere between the small moments and everyday conversations, we realized we had found something special — the kind of love that feels easy, steady, and meant to be. Now, we’re so excited to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you.
