We’re Getting Married!

Darien found Lolena on IG as he randomly found some parody videos she had done. He sent her a message not knowing if she would respond or not. To his surprise, she did. After an exchange of a few messages thanking Darien for the compliments on her videos and brief “get to know” questions, Lolena gave Darien her number and said if he wanted to talk further they can talk outside Instagram. After weeks of long phone conversations and good morning texts, Darien was not making any moves in wanting to meet Lolena in person. So, instead Lolena made another move in suggesting they meet and possibly hang out. Finally, Darien asked Lolena out on a date and on June 24th, 2021 then had their first date at Berry Park in Brooklyn. After walking the pier and deciding to sit on a bench, fireworks erupted nearby and Darien and Lolena both new it was a sign to something special. They were right because nine months later on March 18, 2022, Darien proposed to Lolena. They celebrated their engagement on June 25, 2022 with family and friends marking their one year anniversary as a couple. Now, close to their two year anniversary they will be tying the knot and jumping the broom into a new union and #becomingthewilliams!
