We’re getting MARRIED!!!

Darien and Jelease met in 2011 while both attending Weston Preparatory Academy in Detroit, MI. They were introduced by Jelease’s bestfriend and from there on they became each others “favorite person”. They spent hours on the phone and even began to date and gave one another cute nicknames such as “Oreo and Twixx”. Eventually the school year ended and they both went to different high schools. Although the relationship ended they remained really good friends and still would hang out. Fast forward to March of 2017 Darien and Jelease made it official to become a couple. Five months later they moved into their first apartment together. April of 2019 the young couple found out they were expecting their first child. December of 2019 they gave birth to their beautiful daughter Jelani. March of 2020 Darien, Jelease along with family and friends all went out to dinner for Darien’s birthday and that turned into their proposal!
