Our Story
~From James River Elementary School to James River Country Club!~
After going back to school to become a school counselor, Darianne accepted a position at James River Elementary School. Who knew that the six years Darianne taught at a nearby school, her future husband worked 3 miles down the same road!
It wasn't long before Ben and Dari gravitated towards each other at a school happy hour. Their mutual love of music led to their first date being a concert! Murphy and Chloe (their fur babies) quickly adjusted to their drastic size difference and the four of them became a "Fam Bam."
Ben and Darianne were really good at keeping their new relationship a secret from both staff and students! However, it wasn't long before they could no longer hide their new romance from others. In February of the following year, Ben proposed by the water at Brewing Tree in Afton, VA. They then quickly began planning to be married five months later!
