In August 2021, Darian was preparing to move from Miami to begin her journey as a Travel PT, with her first assignment being in Spring Hill, FL. Before she moved, she matched with William on Hinge, while he was in Miami for a job interview. They never got to meet in person, but continued to talk every day for the next few months. Snapchat messages quickly turned into FaceTime dates and hours of daily chatting like 2 middle schoolers. In December 2021, Darian was living in Spring Hill, FL for work & William was working in Panama City Beach, FL, when they decided it was time for them to meet in person for the first time! After an anxious 6 hour drive, Darian & William spent the weekend together in PCB, having felt like they've known each other for their whole lives. You could say the rest was history, but their journey continued. In February 2022, William was then working in Austin, TX, when he asked if Darian's travel job could get her over there, too! So, naturally, Darian gets a new travel assignment in Austin as well. Darian's dad drove her cross country to meet this new boyfriend of hers - they had "the talk" over Tacos & Margs! (Classic), leaving with Dad's approval <3 Work travel continued to bring Darian & William to Dallas, TX where they signed their first lease to officially live together! At this point, I guess they just decided they were in it for the long haul! In December 2022, William's new job offer took them to the tropical paradise of Miami, where they spent the next year, living the dream in downtown, with their rescue-pup Zoey! But the chaos of Miami brought them to want to settle down for a more calm way of living - and Delray Beach is where they stay! On March 15, 2024, William planned the most perfect day in Brazil, to ask Darian to spend the rest of her life with him, in front of all of his family at sunset, at the highest rooftop restaurant in the country. Undeniably, yes!! We love our love story, & we can't wait to begin the next chapter, with all of our family & closest friends as witness. We love you!
