We will be treating ourselves to pre-honeymoon activities while on this trip and kindly ask to refrain from texting/calling the brides. All info can be found on the wedding website ranging from airport information, lodging, car rentals, activities in the area, and local food/drink options. Apart from seeing everyone at the ceremony on Wednesday, we will be seeing you all at the welcome dinner on Tuesday evening and farewell brunch Thursday morning.
These events will not be pre-paid, however, we do want to take these opportunities to hand out our special gifts to the family and thank you for taking the time to cherish this milestone with us. We would love to have everyone together before the ceremony and together once after the ceremony!
The ceremony will be in the middle of the park at the Central Gardens where all the walkways meet. Our officiant and photographer will be in front of the rock where the ceremony will take place. After leaving the parking lot you will walk a 5 minutes until you have reached the middle of the park. On your journey you will pass a public bathroom, Chuckwagon Pavilion, and North Gateway rock.
There is standing room with 2 short walls to sit on surrounding the ceremony location.
Absolutely not. This park is ADA assessable and has paved sidewalks throughout, there are some railings attached to the paths as well.
We have curated a list of activities and food/drink options under the things to do tab with each individual in mind to make your vacation here magical.
All events have dress codes which can be found under the Itinerary tab. Colorado Springs temperature in December ranges from high 40 degrees to low 18 degrees, be mindful of snow and ice.
The brides are requesting that guests come in fully formal attire matching the wedding color palate which is forest green, burgundy, and black. As festivities will be held outside midst December in Colorado, please dress appropriately and mindful of the weather.
