Looking to wet your whistle? Swing into the Mint Bar! This is a historic, legendary cowboy bar has been the local watering hole for ranchers & cowboys since 1907. Fun fact: The mint bar once served as a speakeasy during the prohibition and has made its appearance in many Western films. This is a Sheridan staple! :)

Kings Saddlery is know for serving ranchers & cowboys from all over the world! From custom hats, boots & ropes all the way down to saddles & spurs. This really is a one stop shop! The first time I stepped into Kings Saddlery I was taken aback by the fresh smell of leather. This is not only a western store, but also a museum of local & western history! :)
Bald Eagles, rushing water, dramatic canyon landscape, orange and black rock walls, lush evergreen forest, and a well maintained hiking trail? COUNT ME IN! This hike is very user friendly and offers a feast for the eyes! If there is one thing we’d recommend doing while you’re here, this is it! As you head toward our venue, continue on down about a quarter mile, Tongue Canyon Road will then deliver you to an absolute gem with trail access and views that are breathtaking! The Tongue River (where you will hike) used to host the historic “Tie Flume”, and its purpose? To float logs down the mountain, built above the river, so they could then turn them into railroad ties during the settlement era. The link below is a quick read on the history of the “Tie Flume” and while you enjoy your hike keep an eye out for traces of it’s rich history. :)
Drive across one of the oldest pieces of North America! So, so much to see/do and only a short 15+ minute drive from the wedding venue! This rich, steep, curvy drive is a geological wonder! Filled with panoramic views, history, fishing, wildlife viewing, Native American Medicine Wheel, picnicking, lunch at Bear Lodge and so much more! :)
