Chance and Darian's college roommates brought them to the interest meeting for the motorsports team. This is where Darian proceeded to bother Chance by tipping his water bottle over. Through mutual friends they began to hang out more.

By the spring semester Chance and Darian were practically inseparable. After classes ended for the day they would immediately text the other to hang out. By this time Chance had a huge crush on Darian, which everyone, including Darian knew about.

Not the most glamorous location, but in Rochester, NY Chance and Darian had their first kiss. Proceeding this Chance walked a few feet away, bent over, let out an excited sigh, and celebrated! Soon Darian's allergies caught up and Chance had to carry her back to the hotel.

With the help of great friends, Darian planned and executed the perfect plan to ask Chance out. It began with a scavenger hunt around their college campus and ended in what is known as Sweetheart circle. It is there where Darian waited with a sign that read "Will you be my boyfriend? Smile=yes, backflip=no". Truth be told, Chance only read the word boyfriend before screaming "Yes!" and charging at Darian for a massive hug!

Throughout college, Darian and Chance were still inseparable. They would plan classes together, which place they would sleep at (until becoming roommates), and how they planned to spend the rest of their lives together. Multiple people would tell them that they are perfect for each other and they knew it!

After Chance and Darian graduated college (woo!), they moved into their own apartment in TN! Not long after that, they adopted a cat together which they named Smokey Bear. Despite COVID keeping them mostly confined to their apartment, the two still tolerate each other (as long as they are fed!).

Chance and Darian took a romantic stroll through the Knoxville botanical gardens. While dodging people getting their engagement/maternity/senior photos done, they ended up in a small, private area. Surrounded by bamboo, rustic stone walls, and the afternoon sun, Chance got down on one knee and asked "Will you marry me?". Through the tears, Darian said yes!
