Both the ceremony and the reception are to be held at The Gathering Place at Red Oak located in Devil's Lake Park on the South Shore in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The ceremony and the reception will the held in the shelter, as the weather is trending toward rather warm and the mosquitos have been a nightmare this year.
When you arrive to the South Side Entrance, stay to the right and drive through instead of stopping at the booth. [Directions on how to get to parking lot by shelter]. Once you arrive, please collect a parking pass from us and display it in your front windshield.
The ceremony will be indoor, but weather depending their will be outside games so daytime attire is the dress code vibe. September leading into October has been warm these last few years, but still pay attention to the weather. For warm weather sundresses and sandals or button-down shirts with pants are suggested. Please, no athletic wear.
The reception will commence a hour post ceremony, with snacks and drinks available to the guests in the park shelter while the wedding party is with the photographer for a short posed photo session. Once photos are finished the wedding party will join the rest of the guests for the evening.
The vibe of the reception is *beer, pizza, and board games! Food will be buffet style with a spread of pizza, salad, and snack options. Please let us know of any food allergies or sensitivities in advance so we may order accordingly. In lieu of traditional decorations we will be leaving the tabletops empty to maximize your gaming space. There will be one game per table upon entering the reception hall, however we will provide a range of games for you to enjoy. **Please feel free to bring your own games as well if you have any you'd like to play! *Canned beer and wine will be provided, as well as a selection of soda and bottled waters. **Please no Catan.
As the bride and groom do not eat a lot of cake they will instead be sharing their preferred dessert; cannoli. Mini cannoli and other sweets as well as fruit will be offered.
The restroom facilities are located outside the gathering space, and are open to the public. Please plan accordingly for that, apologies.
