Yes — he’ll be happy to help with hotel questions, longer stays, villa locations, and general travel advice.
We highly recommend it if you want to explore the island properly. Madeira is beautiful, dramatic, and much easier to enjoy with a car. That said, Uber and Bolt are affordable, so you’ll still be absolutely fine without one.
Yes — we will arrange additional transfers for the wedding day and the other planned events.
We’d recommend coming for at least 3–4 days if you can, and longer if you’d like to enjoy more of the island.
October in Madeira is usually very pleasant — warm, sunny, and great for being outside. During the day, temperatures are often around 22–26°C, while mornings and evenings can feel much cooler, especially if there is wind or if you are somewhere higher up. In the evening, it can get properly chilly, so we definitely recommend bringing a jacket, shawl, or something warm to throw on. And yes — we are absolutely planning to swim in the ocean on one of the days, so bring your swimwear too. The water will be fresh, of course, but very worth it.
For the wedding days, yes, we recommend staying in or near Funchal to keep things easy and convenient.
Bring comfortable shoes for walking, especially if you plan to explore. For the wedding events, details and dress codes are shared on the relevant page.
