Easily the best zoo we have ever been to. Keep in mind, it is on the side of a mountain, so wear your walking shoes. And bring some cash to feed the giraffes!
Hiking
There is so much hiking around! Check out Garden of the Gods, the Manitou Incline, Seven Falls (has a fee), Cave of the Winds, or any of the other gorgeous, mountainous hikes. Out of towners, keep the elevation in mind. Bring a LOT of water (more than you think).
The Broadmoor

At the Broadmoor you can find hiking, horseback riding, falconry, luxurious hotel stays, and more. Activities can be reserved without booking a hotel room.
