Our story begins in October 2023… We were both at a mutual friend’s gathering, and at some point, we kept stealing little glances at each other from across the room. A few moments later….. I see him walking towards me. He walked right up to me, looked me in the eyes, and told me how beautiful I was. It completely caught me off guard! I couldn’t help but smile and blush, it felt like he had read my mind. From that moment, he made it clear he wanted to get to know me better. We exchanged numbers that night and started texting immediately. A few days later, he asked me out on our very first date… to an illusion museum! It was such a fun and unique experience, and honestly, from that day on I had this little inkling that he just might be someone I could see a future with. From then on, he always held a special place in my heart. We quickly became inseparable. On December 4, 2023, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Without hesitation, I said YES! As time went on, our feelings grew even deeper, and our relationship was thriving. But life has a way of testing you, and we faced our share of challenges. Close family members on both sides became very sick, and those moments were so hard for us. But even through the darkest days, we stayed strong for each other and never left each other’s side. We realized through all of it that it’s just the two of us and God walking us through this journey. One of the most special moments came during that time. My grandma, who was very ill, had a private conversation with Dare. He spoke of his plans to propose to me, and she gave her blessing. Her final words to him were: “Even if I pass, go through with it. I’m happy my granddaughter has a man like you.” That meant so much to both of us. Knowing how much my grandma meant to me, he secretly worked with close family and friends to plan the proposal. And on February 2nd, 2025… Dare proposed to me. 💍 It was the easiest and happiest “yes” of my life. We cannot wait to continue this beautiful journey together, side by side.
