What is the venue like?

Answer

The wedding is at Alley Park, in Lancaster, Ohio. It will be indoors, for the most part, but it will have some outdoor areas that are accessible to the guests. As the wedding is in late September, in Ohio, the weather can be unpredictable but we will do our best to be prepared for all circumstances!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would like everyone to dress their best, so the dress code is more formal than not. We trust whatever your choice is, we would just love everyone to dress to the nines for a beautiful and fun night! Ladies, please feel free to wear any color dress that you feel confident in, even if it has more white than you think it should! I, the bride, truly will not be bothered by it in the slightest.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

There is no alcohol allowed at the park, as a rule, so we are not having any alcohol professionally provided. We would encourage some pre-gaming (as desired) and we promise it will still be so fun to dance and celebrate with friends and family! There will be some mocktails and other types of drinks, so no one will be going thirsty.

Are we asking for gifts?

Answer

As we are already homeowners and have been blessed with the means to fill our home with the things we need, we are not asking for specific gifts in our registry. We are creating the opportunity for donations towards our honeymoon or future endeavors, but nothing is required. In that same train of thought, if you have a gift in mind that you would like to give us, we would be more than thankful for it.

Are kids welcome?

We want everyone to be able to come so if that means kids are tagging along, they are more than welcome!

What is the Welcome Event?

Answer

The Welcome Event is at the bride's family home, in the house and in the backyard. Feel free to wear something comfy and casual and join us! There will be food and drinks and music and games and lots of quality time!

Did we block out any hotels?

Answer

We did! There are two hotels that are blocked out for this wedding, offering a discounted rate starting on the night of the 20th. Reserve them as quickly as possible, so that you are guaranteed that discount! If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
