To make a long story short, the universe shows you your path in mysterious ways. We had been introduced 3 times before we realized we probably should see each other. We were just simply meant to be! We were walking by the otters and Dareien told Bob that otters hold hands as they float down the river; he was wowed by Dareien's knowledge and took her hint to hold her hand as they walk around the zoo. The rest was history. The proposal. Bob was in kahoots with our friends Cat and Keller. He had grand plans of going down on one knee during the Bockfest Boy's hit, "Yea, Sure, Ya Betcha". However, we had missed it in their set. Dareien's dad was on the move to see if they will play it again. As the end of their set neared, Russ tried one more time. The guitarist proudly proclaimed in the microphone "Mr. Lund! Someone has something to propose!" Bob had no idea Russ went to the front; panicked he knelt down and ask Dareien to "make him the happiest man on Earth." Unlike the beginnings of our relationship, Dareien did not wait for the 3rd time around; the answer was a "Yea, Sure, Ya Betcha!"
