Tea ceremonies are the equivalent of an aisle ceremony and symbolizes the union of two families. The bride and groom show their respect and appreciation for the support from their elders, who in turn bless the marriage. Tea is served to elders by the bride and groom to the parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. The list of who is being served tea will be pre-arranged. This will be followed by an informal ceremony with an officiant where we will exchange vows. A Chinese-inspired high tea will be provided. Due to limited size of the venue, the ceremony will only be open to close friends and family.

A Chinese Banquet is traditionally ten courses long and is a marathon, not a sprint. The menu features seafood, chicken, and pork. Come with an empty belly and an open mind. We will also be having a dance party, and will be counting on you to fill the dance floor with merriment and celebration. The DJ specializes in 90's throwbacks but will also be taking requests.
