Oh, its ON!

When it comes to an adorable meet-cute and a “how we met” story that your children will swoon over, "she swiped right” typically doesn’t come to mind. Without the advances in modern technology, we truly wouldn't have met. Darcy was still in college full time and just starting a new job, but Jason made the two hour drive to meet her on St. Patrick's day. If you want to be technical, we met in a Walmart parking lot where we could get a quick escape but thankfully that was not necessary. We then went to Darcy's favorite Mexican restaurant, Tarasco's, followed by drinks at an Irish pub complete with the romantic serenade of bagpipes from grown men in kilts. As two completely different people from different walks of life, we were walking the same path and there were fireworks every step of the way.

Ashland is part of Southern Oregon, about an hour from our home currently. The venue is right downtown and there is room blocks at Ashland Springs available, but there are other hotels close by as well as resuturaunts, shopping, gas station, all right in that vicinity. If you're wondering what to wear, you're not alone! If you like to dress up, please do. If not, please don't feel pressured, we want everyone to be comfortable but would like to keep it semi formal if possible. Additionally, our registries are on another tab but we would prefer seeing your sweet dance moves! That's the true gift right there. Our theme is very romantic with a touch of art deco, and the palette of colors includes pinks, mauve, purples, wines and dark blue. We will have a buffet and several desserts to enjoy that we hope everyone will like. The weather is TBD, however we are planning for an outdoor ceremony but there's a beautiful room indoors to use if it rains and we have an amazing team working on the big day with us. Lastly, PLEASE RSVP so we can gather a good head count!
