We’re getting married!

We went on a last minute trip with friends to do some bay fishing at Port O’Connor. The first day of the trip, Darci got seasick on the boat and Sean was nervous he wouldn’t get the chance to propose on the trip. Darci stayed at the bay house the next day while Sean went fishing with friends. The last day of the trip Darci decided to try fishing again. We had a very successful day and caught our limit of red drum. Towards the end of the day, we both caught one or two jacks, which are known as the hardest fighting fish of the sea. Darci got hers reeled in and released, while Sean was still fighting his. After finally getting his jack reeled in, unhooked, and released Sean set his fishing pole back in the holder and went to the front of the boat. He got down on one knee, looked at Darci, and said “Man, I’m tired of catching jacks ... Mind if I catch you instead?” In the middle of the bay at Port O’Connor, with tears in her eyes, Darci said “Yes!!”
