What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire: suits, formal jumpsuits, cocktail dresses (knee length or longer), and formal separates are all welcome. Given the religious nature of the ceremony, we ask that guests refrain from anything overly immodest.

If I’m not attending the Temple Sealing, where do I wait?

Answer

We’ll be taking the majority of our pictures outside the Houston Texas Temple so we ask that all our guests kindly travel with us to the Temple to celebrate our Temple exit. There is a waiting room by the Houston Texas Temple where we will be providing refreshments and snacks. Guests are also able to wait in the waiting room inside the Temple foyer.

What food will be served?

Answer

Following the ceremony, a luncheon of a charcuterie board and refreshments will be served. At the reception there will be a plated dinner in addition to a dessert table. If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know.

What drinks will be served?

Answer

Soda, water, iced tea, and lemonade! Given the religious nature of the ceremony, our wedding will be alcohol free.

What time should I arrive by?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 11:30am so we ask that guests arrive at 11am.
