We met on Bumble (highly recommended) and had our first date at a local brewpub. It will surprise no one to learn that the night we first said "I love you" was also the night that we went to see Star Wars Episode VIII. We gave each other the same gift on both our first Valentine's Day (chocolates from Boston, where we both went to grad school) and our first date-aversary (sky maps of the night we met), and what more do you need to know you belong together?

Amanda grew up in Maryland and went to Bryn Mawr College, where she majored in English. She then got her library science degree at Simmons College in Boston, moving out of the city just a few weeks before Justin moved in, and now works as a librarian at a rural college in Maryland. She loves her cat, daffodils, the Baltimore Orioles, and her fiance.

Justin grew up in Maryland and got his undergraduate degree in anthropology at St. Mary's College of Maryland. He is currently finishing up his graduate degree in archaeology through UMass Boston, and works as an archaeologist with a firm in Maryland. He loves Star Wars, the Pittsburgh Steelers, otters, and his fiancee.
