Scott and Darby first met in the Chemistry Lab at Oklahoma State in the fall of 2021. Before class started one day, Scott stopped Darby and her roommate to politely ask a few questions—such a gentleman—but Darby wasn’t exactly impressed at the time. Fast forward a year, and fate gave him another shot. In another class they shared, Scott casually slipped in, “By the way, the final exam is online,” which turned out to be the smoothest pickup line. They ended up studying together in the Endeavor Engineering Lab, and from there, the rest was history.
