-November 2014- Logan had a weekend fraternity event and his date couldn't come last minute due to a family issue. Logan's friend reached out to Darby and asked if she would like to attend and with a little bit of encouragement from her mom, said yes to the date function. Darby and Logan spent the whole weekend together and on Monday night after the function, Logan texted Darby to ask her out on a date. Darby said maybe because she was insistent on being single for her freshman year of college, but Logan was creative and instead asked if she wanted to do calculus homework together. They spent the semester studying for calc together, and incorporating movie nights in and attending each others date functions, which led to 3 years of date functions and studying together throughout college, 4 years of living in Tampa, and then the big move to London together!

-November 2022- Darby and Logan spent their first year in London traveling as much as possible. Everyone always was texting asking if this trip was going to be the proposal. But Logan threw Darby off by planning a trip on a Friday morning to go to Geneva, Switzerland that evening. Logan planned the full Saturday, a walk around the lake, a tuk tuk wine and cheese tour, and then the two were going to rent a car and watch the sunset over the lake on top of the mountain. But the car they rented was a manual and neither Darby or Logan were comfortable going up the mountain with a manual car. So they called it and decided to see the view the next morning when they could rent an automatic car. Logan drove Darby up the mountain early in the morning when no one was around and told her he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Darby said "oh my god" about 25 times and of course she cried.
