Bride
Darby has worked in the Reference department at the Maryland State Archives since July 2021. She is a Disney adult (in case the Disney wedding didn't give that away!), adores dogs (especially all of the Nisbett and Schini dogs), and loves traveling. She doesn't believe you can ever have too much peanut butter.
Christopher Schini
Groom
Chris has worked at the Maryland State Archives for 18 years. He is an avid vinyl record collector, enjoys playing video games with his friends, and likes to watch horror movies. He's yet to find a hot sauce that was too spicy for him.
Morgan Miller Scarborough
Matron of Honor
Morgan began working with Darby in the Reference Department at the Maryland State Archives in June 2023. On her first day, she and Darby talked for several hours and bonded over their shared love of Disney, crazy, medical stories, and Christian background.
Zachary Wheeler
Best Man
Chris and Zach met at Messiah College where they spent all four years as roommates, as well as much of their free time together.
Thad Nisbett
Father of the Bride
Thad served in the US Navy for 30 years before retiring and joining civilian life. Now, he works at Northrop Grumman to support his daughter's Disney addiction. He is a Patriots football fan, dog dad to three dogs, and gave Darby high expectations for how her future husband should treat her.
Melissa Nisbett
Mother of the Bride
Melissa has been a teacher for 30 years, currently teaches 12th grade theology, and completed her doctorate in education from Baylor University in 2022. Darby says the best thing she learned from her mom is "Just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it right" as well as there being no such thing as too many shoes.
Brooke Schini
Mother of the Groom
Brooke is a retired Family and Consumer Sciences teacher who enjoys the things she taught, cooking, sewing and child development. Her first and most loved job was being a mom to Christopher and Emily and now a Grammy to 3 amazing boys and wife to Steve.
Steve Schini
Father of the Groom
Steve is retired from careers in defense consulting supporting shipbuilding programs, and the Naval Reserve serving at the Pentagon and at Naval Ordinance Station Indian Head. He loves fixing things and solving problems. Steve is finally enjoying spending quality time woodworking.
