We're getting married!

During one of the last weekends of “normal life” before COVID-19, Ryan surprised me with booking a weekend trip to Asheville with my sisters. Our plans were to go hiking, have dinner, see the Biltmore, etc. After hiking around 2 miles (trail closure - we were diverted) and hearing the many complaints from me, Ryan decided to cut the hike short and stop at a gazebo on the trail. I truly didn't think Ryan was going to propose that weekend otherwise I would have complained a lot less about the hike and made sure my nails were perfect. However, the proposal was so perfectly us: in the mountains at sunset and centered around the love we have for each other. After a beautiful sunset and proposal, my sisters bought us all Mellow Mushroom pizza and watched The Incredibles 2 to celebrate. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Shout out to my sisters for surprising me and taking amazing photos of the engagement! I'm usually the one behind the camera, so it was strange being on the other side.
