We're getting married!!

Austin and I first met in the heart of Tuscaloosa at the University of Alabama in 2015. Austin and his 5 crazy roommates were throwing ANOTHER game-day party at their house. I decided to go after a few of my friends told me about it. Who knew that one afternoon filled with laughs, cheers, and good vibes would turn into something special. Not to mention, he won me over with chips, queso, and margaritas! Our first year together was a whirlwind of football games, cheering on the Crimson Tide, cramming for next-day tests, and frequently visiting our favorite campus food spots. When we weren't doing all that, we were soaking up the sun on the sandy beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. Over the past nine years, our bond has grown stronger than ever, filled with laughter, love, and a shared passion for all things Crimson Tide. We are also proud parents of a 1 year old golden doodle, Cooper!

What a story! It all started when Austin and I planned a week long, "relaxing" trip to the Bahamas! We were so excited to travel together and Austin was eager to go somewhere that I had never been before. Welp, besides almost missing our flight, American Airlines losing all of our luggage for 2 days, and having to buy everything we needed at a small bohemian grocery store, it was a great time! This trip didn't start how we planned, but we made the most of it. We visited multiple islands including Marsh Harbour, Green Turtle Cay, Nunjack Cay, and Great Guana Cay. One evening, as we were driving our golf cart to dinner on Green Turtle Cay, Austin stopped at a beautiful beach named Coco Bay to look at the sunset. We had talked about how beautiful this beach was since we first arrived at Green Turtle. As we were walking on the beach admiring the ocean, Austin was suddenly on one knee asking me to marry him! We celebrated by going to dinner and calling all of our friends and family. This was a trip of a lifetime and I couldn't imagine it any other way.
