What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at 5:00 PM for a PROMPT 5:30 PM ceremony start time.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal attire are all appropriate--it's still a classy affair! We recommend any colored suit for men (example: black, tan, linen or khaki), and for women: gowns, cocktail dresses, or jumpsuits. Please NO shorts, denim, or sneakers. Note: Our ceremony is on the beach, but there is a platform so you will not have to walk on the sand (unless you want to)!

Is the venue accessible?

Yes! There are two ramps and an elevator on the premises.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration (with, of course, the exception of our flower girl and ring bearers!). We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue, which means we are only able to accommodate those guests listed on your invitation. You will see this in your online RSVP response. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Have you met us?! The answer is YES! We only ask that guests not get in the way of the professional photographers we've hired for our special day.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! Please use our unique wedding hashtag #ShellYeahVanMarkson when posting your photos on social media so we can see all the wonderful moments you've captured!

Are you changing your last name?

Answer

For the time being, we have both opted to keep our respective last names so please make sure to address any correspondence to Dara Van-Wiemokly and/or Robin Markson. (In social situations, we'll call ourselves the VanMarksons!)
