What is the name of our venue?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at The Barn At Liberty Farms located at 60 Ostrander Road Ghent, NY 12075

Are children invited?

Answer

As much as we want to include everyone, the ceremony and reception are adults only, no children. We ask that you please make the necessary arrangements you will need for the weekend.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to our guest limit, we will not be accommodating plus ones for any of our guests and we kindly ask that you do not bring anyone that is not addressed on your invitation to the event.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal, meaning suits for men and dresses for women. Ties are preferred but not required, and dress length can be either knee length or floor length!

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly keep your phones away during the ceremony! We have hired an incredible photographer and we would much rather everyone be present and unplugged during the ceremony. After the ceremony has finished and the reception has started--snap away!

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at two hotels in Coxsackie, NY. Please visit our accommodation page for more info!

Will there be transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you are staying at one of our hotel blocks, we will be providing scheduled transportation to and from the venue. Buses will leave from the Best Western at 3:10 PM and then from the Holiday Inn Express at 3:20 PM. Hotels have confirmed that you can check in starting at 2 PM. Shuttles back from the venue will leave at 10:15 PM and 11:15 PM for those who would like to stay for the bonfire. Additionally, there will be parking available at the venue if you choose to drive yourself!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that everyone kindly arrive by 4pm, so that everyone can be seated and settled in time for our 4:30pm ceremony!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors in a grassy area and the reception will be inside the barn. Please plan your footwear accordingly!
