They first met in Sioux Falls for a coffee date after matching on a dating app. Filip was a professor at South Dakota State living in Brookings and Dara was a medical lab scientist based in Orange City. It was a cold fall afternoon, but they enjoyed the conversation and the warmth of each other's company. While they could only meet on the weekends, their bond was getting stronger. They spend time together exploring the area, cooking, and learning about each other's cultures. From hiking in Black Hills to exploring New York alleys, they made memories together.
