Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We would recommend you arrive in Goa on Wednesday, 10th December 2025 or earlier to give you enough time to adjust to the time difference and temperature.

Question

Do I need a visa to travel to India?

Answer

YES YOU DO! All non-Indian passport or residence-permit holders require a visa to visit India. Luckily the Indian government offers a simplified Tourist e-visa process to citizens of most countries. More information can be found here: indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html You can apply for an e-visa up to 30 days before you travel, and the application should be submitted at least 4 days before you fly.

Question

What airport is closest to the venue?

Answer

There are two airports in Goa. 1. Dabolim Airport (GOI) which is 26km (approx. 40 minutes) from the nearest city, Margao. 2. Manohar International Airport (GOX) which is 64km (approx. 80mins) from the nearest city, Margao. We recommend flying to Dabolim Goa International Airport as it is by far the closest to South Goa. We recommend flying into a larger neighbouring city e.g. Mumbai or Delhi and taking a connecting flight from there, where there are several flights running each day.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place outdoors at two beautiful properties in South Goa.

Question

What sort of clothing is appropriate to wear in Goa outside of hotels?

Answer

Casual, comfortable clothing like shorts, T-shirts, and summer dresses are appropriate for most places in Goa. Bikinis and swim trunks are acceptable on the beach, but it's advisable to cover up when leaving the beach area. It is still important to be mindful of the local customs and traditions. In more conservative areas such as places of worship, it's advisable to dress more modestly.
