Our love story began in 2018 with a swipe to the right. Chase had been on ​Bumble ​for over a year while Dara was talked into joining by her best friend, Victoria. Once the two matched, Dara went back and forth as to whether she should talk to Chase, but fortunately, her friend encouraged they chat. After weeks of banter the two had their first date at Kona Grill. The date was far from perfect: Dara was fashionably late and Chase contracted a stomach virus, courtesy of his little brother. Despite all this, Chase asked if they could have another date and Dara said yes. That yes was followed by a year of spending hours talking to each other on the phone, going back and forth on what movies to watch, dinner dates at Pluckers, taking care of the other when one was sick, and saying I love you to each other. After a year, Chase took Dara to the highest point in downtown Fort Worth to overlook the city. She turned from her view to see Chase on one knee asking to be his wife. Through her laughs and tears she said yes. It was an unforgettable evening for Dara. Chase & Dara went to celebrate their engagement at a nearby restaurant in Fort Worth.
