We met at Phillip's (the best man) house at a kickback. At first, we were just sitting on the couch with our friends and then DJ makes his way to start a conversation with Chrissy. They began to laugh and have an instant connection. After DJ asked for Chrissy's number, the rest was history.

DJ told Chrissy to get dressed because he wanted to take her on a date to the art museum. Chrissy loves art and interesting items to look at so perfect place. When we got there, we walked around for two to three hours and looked at all the different types of art and eras. When we were finished, DJ took Chrissy's picture outside of the art museum, grabbed her hand, told her to close her eyes, and begins speaking. DJ told Chrissy about how much he loved her, what he wanted to be as a man for her in the future, and how he never wanted to let her go. When he told her to open her eyes, her family and friends where waiting for her underneath a gazebo. The gazebo had a red carpet, balloons, roses, and a sign that said "WILL YOU MARRY ME'? We walked that red carpet, DJ got on one knee and said "Chrishona Monique Reddix, will you marry me.?" Chrissy said YES!
