What’s the dress code?

Answer

Garden formal – Dressy and elegant, but comfortable for an indoor garden ceremony. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for ladies, and slacks with a dress shirt or suit for men. Please avoid wearing ivory & Dusty Rose!!!

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 1:45 PM to be seated. Our ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at: 📍 Boerner Botanical Gardens- Garden House 9400 Boerner Dr, Hales Corners, WI 53130 Free parking is available on-site.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held indoors in the garden house, and the reception will follow indoors in the Garden house. We will walk the garden for our group photos.

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! A buffet-style dinner will be served, along with non-alcoholic beverages. Please come hungry and ready to celebrate! If you would like to drink please BYOB & keep it in the car.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adult-only celebration. Only our children will be in attendance as part of the ceremony and immediate family. If you’re traveling with children, please arrange proper childcare or accommodations, as we are unable to provide kid-friendly entertainment or seating during the event. We appreciate your understanding!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We invite you to take photos using your personal phones. Please be aware our photographer will be taking photos and videos and would like our guests to be aware & avoid interfering with the professional. We’d love to see your photos online! Please use our hashtags: 📸 #DJAWedding & #DJAWedding2026
