Near Daphne’s 21st birthday, we celebrated our past and futures with music, dancing and moonlight. Growing closer as we finished college, began our careers, and took on new challenges-we’ve had endearing support for each other. Our future has never look brighter, together.

Daphne was in bumper to bumper traffic driving home from a nursing school final when she saw a cryptic message from Nick come through her watch. The message said "Maybe some champagne/ Juice for a celebratory mimosa if she feels like it? Daphne still has no idea it's coming so it's epic." That message was not supposed to be sent to Daphne and was supposed to be sent to Amanda who is Fletcher's girlfriend (Nicks Best Man) who was helping orchestrate the proposal. Daphne proceeded to start crying on the I-5 and immediately called Justine (Maid of Honor) and then proceeded to pick apart the text for the rest of the day until Nick came home from work. Nick back tracked and convinced Daphne that he was planning a celebratory brunch for her being done with another semester of Nursing school as part of their trip to Truckee, CA. On Sunday August 21st they made their way up to Truckee. On Monday August 22nd Nick was adamant on doing a hike he did while training up in Truckee for work. Turns out it was not a hike and just an amazing viewpoint and the perfect spot to propose to his future wife. Amanda and Fletcher popped out from the trees and caught the whole thing on camera.
