Daphne & Kevin Are Getting Married!

Our Favorite Places

The Wedding Website of Daphne Benzaquen and Kevin Barnes
We love Saint Louis and are so excited to share some of our favorite places with you!

The Arch

St. Louis, MO 63113

A must for visitors. Did you know you can take a very tiny elevator up the Arch for a great view of downtown Saint Louis? We recommend making a reservation ahead of your visit.

Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis

3750 Washington Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 535-4660

Daphne highly recommends...Kevin does not.

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110
, (314) 781-0900

We love the zoo! It's where we took our engagement photos too. Located in Forest Park it has amazing exhibits and the animals are usually pretty active and visible!

Forest Park

5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63112
, (314) 367-7275

Museums, the Zoo, Golf and More! We love going to Forest Park during the Spring, Summer and Fall. There are always great events going on and we love attending our outdoor dance aerobics class in the pavilions led by friends!

Grant's Farm

10501 Gravois Road, St. Louis, MO 63123
, (314) 577-2626

We love Grant's Farm. In fact, Kevin took Daphne here on their second date. He actually skipped half of his Saturday class for it! It is a bit out of the way, but worth the 20 minute drive to interact with the animals.

Donut Drive In

6525 Chippewa Street, St. Louis, MO 63109
, (314) 645-7714

Our favorite donuts.

Taco Buddha

7405 Pershing Avenue, University City, MO 63130
, (314) 502-9951

We love this place and it's super close to Clayton. For breakfast we recommend the Chorizo, Egg, and Cheese Tacos or the Blue Bonnet. If you're there for lunch they have great margaritas and Daphne loves the Thai Pork Tacos.

Cate Zone Chinese Cafe

8148 Olive Boulevard, University City, MO 63130
, (314) 738-9923

Best Chinese Food in St. Louis. We recommend the Sweet and Sour Pork, Fired Rice and Sour Rice Cabbage Noodles. The restaurant itself is very small so be prepared to wait!

Cocina Latina

508 North Euclid Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 696-2294

The only restaurant that serves Peruvian Cuisine in Saint Louis. We recommend ordering Lomo Saltado, Aji de Gallina, Papa Rellena and Anticuchos. If you have room for dessert we love the Picarones and you should try the Peruvian drink, Pisco Sour!

Lola Jean's

5400 Nottingham Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109
, (314) 553-9903

This is a cute little cafe we like to go to for brunch.

Russell's on Macklind

5400 Murdoch Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63109
, (314) 553-9994

Also great for brunch and a sister restaurant to Lola' Jeans. We recommend checking out their pastry case!

Carnivore

5277 Shaw Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110

If you want to check out The Hill, St. Louis' historic Italian neighborhood, Carnivore is a great place for brunch or dinner. You can usually get in and out of there fairly quickly and enjoy a great meal. We like the Steak Sandwich, featuring the St. Louis favorite, Provel cheese and some authentic Toasted Raviolis.

The Last Kitchen & Bar

1501 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO 63103
, (866) 752-7700

Great food and a very pretty hotel. Previously a shoe manufacturing plant, this hotel is great for grabbing a bite to eat when downtown. The fried pickled veggies and steak sandwich are our go-to's. Make sure to check out the rooftop if it's open too, the site of many daph. photoshoots!

Narwhal's Crafted

3906 Laclede Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 696-8388

This is a fun spot with a large outdoor patio that turns into a camping setting in the colder months. You can get boozy and regular slushies and frozen drinks here.

Taste

4584 Laclede Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108
, (314) 361-1200

This is where we had our first date. Daphne said she would only stay for one drink, but ended up staying for two! Great for appetizers and unique drinks.
