Born and raised in Scotland County, Missouri, Jamie is the devoted father of three wonderful children: Wyatt, Megan, and Braedon. Jamie has been a pillar of our local hospital for 28 years, taking an active role in his community. He's a longstanding member of the Masonic Lodge and Widow Sons for the Northeast Corner. Additionally, Jamie co-owns Kice Family Construction. In his leisure time, Jamie enjoys fishing, boating, and barbecuing for his family. One of the hardest-working men I've ever known, Jamie would give you the shirt off his back—and indeed, he might have already done so for some of you. He's an all-around great guy, loved by all. But be warned, he could possibly talk your ear off!
Daphne Darcy

Born in Michigan and shaped by the tranquil landscapes of Colorado, Daphne is a dedicated mother to three wonderful children: Haley, Bobbi, and Denny. Supported by her partner, Jamie, she gracefully manages her multiple roles with care and devotion. While also contributing to Kice Family Construction, Daphne's heart belongs to her beloved French bulldogs, whom she treats as cherished family members. Through distributing Pawtree's all-natural pet food and her involvement with Bemer since 2016, she extends her passion for holistic living to others. Though her gardening activities have decreased due to recent changes, Daphne's love for organic gardening and landscaping remains a core part of her identity. Her kitchen is a welcoming space where she finds joy in cooking and sharing meals with loved ones.
Christina Coffan

Christina is everyone's beloved "Auntie," and Daphne's go-to person for sure! We are incredibly fortunate and blessed to have her vibrant spirit in our lives. An accomplished entrepreneur, Christina owns and operates Bowser Bubbles Dog Spa in Sedalia, CO. She embodies the free-spirited, hippie vibe with her love for travel, camping, and attending concerts. Christina truly walks to the beat of her own drum, bringing joy and energy wherever she goes.
Haley Darcy

Haley, the eldest of the Darcy girls, recently graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She began her graduate studies in the fall of 2023 on an education specialist track but soon realized her passion for School Psychology was calling. Haley transitioned to a PhD track and was accepted as one of the most qualified applicants for the 2024 program. Her deepest passion lies in helping children develop essential mental health strategies. Outside of her academic pursuits, Haley's life is filled with joy from spending time with her dogs, engaging in outdoor activities, and hanging out with friends. These moments of leisure provide a wonderful balance to her rigorous academic schedule. Supported by her long-time boyfriend, Ryan Slaughter, who is blissfully unaware that he’s on the fast track to becoming her husband, Haley is diligently working towards her goals.
Bobbi Darcy

Bobbi, the youngest daughter in our family, is deeply loved and dearly missed by us all. She's known for her quiet presence and strong opinions, always ready to stand by her loved ones with steadfast support. Bobbi is currently making her mark at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, where she's excelling in her double major in Management Information Systems and Finance, and is set to graduate next May. Her love for the outdoors shines through in her frequent camping and hiking trips with her boyfriend Patrick, often keeping an eye out for geese along the way. Bobbi also has a deep passion for travel, which complements her love of exploring new places. She's embraced the Pacific Northwest and we don't expect to see her back in Memphis any time soon, especially as she's recently secured a summer internship with Boeing in Seattle, promising new adventures and opportunities for growth.

Residing in the vibrant state of New York, Megan is an embodiment of dedication and intelligence. A recent graduate from the University of Rochester, she earned her bachelor's degree in Microbiology and is currently working at the University Hospital of Rochester. Here, she is acquiring crucial clinical hours needed to further her education as a Physician Assistant. Known for her quick wit and strong opinions, Megan stands out as a fierce advocate for women in STEM. In her downtime, she loves to unwind with her close-knit circle of friends. Whether they're visiting local wineries to enjoy the scenic outdoors or gathering for an evening of board games, Megan cherishes these moments of leisure and camaraderie.
Charles Stevenson

Charles and Jamie's friendship traces back to their childhood days in the quaint town of Arbela, Missouri, where they grew up just down the street from each other. Their bond was almost inevitable, with their parents being close friends, and over the years, they've collected hundreds of stories. At the wedding, get ready to settle in—you might find yourself captivated by their tales for hours, each more entertaining than the last. After spending over 30 years in the landscaping business in the St. Louis area, Charles is newly semi-retired. He and his wonderful wife Sara have recently moved back to Scotland County. We are thrilled to have Charles stand up for us at our wedding and look forward to many more years of friendship with both Charles and Sara in our lives.
Wyatt Kice

Wyatt is the oldest of the Kice children and tends to be reserved until you get to know him better. Once comfortable, he reveals a playful, prank-loving side that keeps everyone on their toes. He is integral to the operations at Kice Family Construction, where he works closely with Jamie and Daphne, ensuring the family legacy in business continues to thrive. Wyatt has recently gotten engaged to Tala, who is diligently pursuing her career through an accelerated nursing program. Together, they enjoy a happy life, often spending time at home with their beloved dogs.
Braedon Kice

Braedon, Jamie's youngest son, is the gentle giant of the family. Initially shy, those who take the time to get to know him are quickly charmed by his understated humor and kindness. Braedon works in the HVAC industry, a role that frequently takes him to new places. His job aligns perfectly with his love for travel, turning each work assignment into an opportunity for adventure. This combination of exploring new horizons and meeting diverse people enriches his gentle and inquisitive spirit.
Denny Black

Denny, the youngest of Daphne's children, is quick-witted, sassy, and full of humor, sharing many traits with his older sisters. At 13 years old, he's passionate about football, baseball, and enjoys fishing and hunting—true to his adventurous spirit. Denny has a special bond with Jamie, often teaming up with him to tackle various projects and "man things" around the house. His affection for his mother shines through especially when he needs a little extra something. In a significant step, Denny will be taking the last name Kice, a decision that fills us all with immense pride. This young man continues to impress and inspire us every day!
Miguel Gallegos

Miguel Gallegos is a lively six-year-old, twin brother to Leo, and cherished son of Jeff and Monica Gallegos, who are cousins of the bride. He has a keen interest in building intricate Lego sets, cherishes a cozy movie night complete with popcorn, and loves to entertain his friends with his playful antics. As the end of July approaches, Miguel is brimming with excitement to celebrate his 7th birthday alongside Leo. This summer promises to be an adventure, with plans to attend various summer camps and plenty of days spent at the neighborhood pool with his brother and friends, making it a season to remember.

Dondi Clay

Dondi, renowned for her infectious goofiness and unwaveringly cheerful demeanor, will take on the role of our officiant for the ceremony. Jamie shares a childhood bond with Dondi and has blossomed into one of Daphne's dearest friends. While we may harbor a touch of nervous excitement about her performance, we couldn't be more thrilled to have one of our closest friends join us in matrimony. If anyone can turn wedding jitters into giggles, it's Dondi!
