It's finally happening! We are getting married!!!

Alex and Daphne both took a chance in April 2020 and gave online dating another shot. During the peak of the COVID-19 quarantine, both were chatting, and decided to have a "virtual date" on May 3rd. They immediately connected, as Alex, in his Fairfax softball t-shirt, charmed his way into Daphne's heart. They then met in Founder's Park in Old Town Alexandria with their pups, and grabbed some chicken sandwiches from Rub Chicken and Beer. During their picnic, Daphne went to her car to get the dessert she made for Alex, and Emma panicked, crying and jumping eveywhere. Alex was immediately taken back, as Emma never acted like that around strangers. Just from that, Alex knew that Daphne was someone special and he had to hold onto her. During their first year together, their pups developed their own bond (especially when Emma wraps her mouth around Ace's head) as they spent time traveling to different beach and mountain destinations. One year later, they celebrated their anniversary in the very same spot, and Alex pulled out a beautiful diamond and asked Daphne to spend the rest of his life with him. And she said yes!!! They are both excited for their future together and to let their family grow larger with the best two families out there!!!
