Are children invited?

Unfortunately, as much as we would love to invite all of our friend's and family's children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and we very much hope you will still be able to join us on our special day. We hope this advanced notice will allow you to plan for a night or two of fun and celebration with us.

How far in advance should I book a hotel?

Answer

The Rocky Mountaineer Train utilizes Kamloops as an overnight stop throughout the year and books hotel rooms in the downtown area far in advance. All the hotels we have blocked rooms off for are located within walking distance of the reception hall or just a short taxi ride away. It is best to book your hotel room early to ensure you are able to stay in the downtown area. We have been advised that it is very difficult to book a hotel room in the downtown core during this time which is why we have arranged for blocks of rooms. Please note the cut-off dates for booking as the rooms will be released after those dates.

Is there a shuttle between the ceremony site and reception venue?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle between the ceremony site and reception venue. The ceremony location is about a 30 minute drive away from the reception venue (22km).
