We created our Zola registry (found right here on our site) and linked our Amazon registry to it. We created a couple of cash funds that are higher priority items on our registry, and it's much simpler for us to have everything easily accessible through this one site.
Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving by 3:30pm in order to get parked, walk to the ceremony site, and get your seat before the ceremony begins.
Yes! Our idea for the wedding is a fantasy-inspired garden party. Standard spring garden party attire: sundresses, floral prints, spring colors, muted earth tones, casual button ups with nice pants, etc. are all acceptable. We encourage the use of fantasy-inspired accessories! Elf ears, fairy makeup, antlers or horns, flower crowns, butterfly accessories, Renaissance faire attire, whatever you feel comfortable in! No stiletto heels please, as we will be walking through the grass and stilettos or pointed heels could pose a hazard. Please see the bottom half of our "mood board" for inspiration for outfits!
We kindly request that you do not bring a date unless specifically noted on your invitation. While we wish we could invite everyone with a plus one, our guest list is limited. We have carefully considered our guest count and hope you understand. If additional space becomes available closer to the wedding date, we will first extend invitations to spouses and serious, long-term partners. Thank you for your understanding.
We've carefully selected the children attending our wedding and have specifically noted them on your personal invitation. Due to venue capacity constraints, we kindly ask that you only bring the children who are explicitly named on your RSVP. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create an intimate celebration!
We will have catering from Maggiano's Little Italy! There will be a buffet style selection, with the main entree options being Chicken Marsala or Salmon alongside a selection of vegetarian-friendly pastas, salad, and sides.
Please indicate any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you complete your RSVP! With our groom having a severe shellfish allergy, you can best believe we will take all food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously.
Yes, there is parking on site! General parking is a short walk to the ceremony site and will be clearly marked. There is also handicap parking available, and the venue will provide golf cart service from the handicap accessible lot to the ceremony for anyone who needs it. Those who require handicap parking must have their vehicle with handicap plates or the hanging tag in order to park in this parking area.
The venue is centrally located with easy access to Downtown Richmond, Short Pump, and Midlothian or Hull Street Road via 288. There are a number of hotels right off of 288 exits, 64 exits through Richmond and West End Henrico, Midlothian Turnpike, and of course in Downtown Richmond proper. We have Hiltons, Hyatts, Wyndhams, Hampton Inns, Marriotts...you name it. Feel free to plug in the venue address into your search and find something that fits your needs!
