Regretfully postponed

As most probably know, Jeremy is a martial arts instructor and has been for many years now. Due to our age difference Jeremy was already instructing classes while I was still in elementary school. Our initial meeting was simply by chance. I had spent the night with my best friend Alayna, and Alayna's dad and brother took martial arts classes with Jeremy. So the following morning we all went to class. Alayna's dad mentioned to Jeremy that I might be interested in taking classes and that was when Jeremy decided to make it his mission to make me participate in that days class. Now anyone who knew me at 10 years old knows that I was not going to participate in a group class that required me to get up and perform in front of other people. Especially not after being told I had to. Jeremy tried his best, by forcibly removing my shoes and placing me in line with the rest of the class. Well, at that point I decided I hated him.

Several years after the initial failed attempt of getting me to participate in classes, I join voluntarily. Between seeing each other in classes and in the mornings at CVS where Jeremy worked and I stopped most mornings for a Dr. Pepper before school, we became friends. Though we lost touch for many years and each lived our separate lives, fate, or in this case my aunt Erin, has a way of bringing people together. In 2016 Erin advised me that Jeremy was going through some tough times and that she remembered we used to be friends and maybe I should reach out to him and see how he's doing. So I followed her advice and our forever began with a Facebook message. We texted back and forth and spent hours on the phone like we were teenagers before going on our first date on May 31st, 2016. We both knew then that it was the beginning of forever!
