Dante and Sarah first met during college, at UNC in Greeley, Colorado. Though they knew each other from every class they took together in the Music Education program, singing in choir together, and their involvement with the Navigators on-campus ministry, Dante and Sarah only began their friendship towards the end of junior year, in spring of 2020. Of course, we all know what happens next, so it should come as no surprise that their first date, later that November, happened over Zoom while Dante was in quarantine! The next year saw Dante finishing up his degree at UNC and Sarah serving with ELIC as an online English teacher based out of New York City. One of their favorite memories is Dante’s visit to New York to see Sarah, when she showed him all her favorite spots in the city. After Sarah moved back to Colorado, they continued dating while they both took new jobs in Fort Collins in the fall of 2022. The next January, Dante proposed to Sarah by taking her up to Horsetooth Reservoir, one of their favorite spots in the area. From a spot overlooking the reservoir, and with a hidden cameraman just across the street, Dante popped the question, and Sarah said yes! We are thrilled to celebrate this new milestone in our relationship with you in September!
