I moved back to Santa Barbara after graduating from college and wanted to re-connect with a few friends from high school that still lived in town. One of our mutual friends was having a get together at his families restaurant and I thought it would be the perfect way to reconnect with some old friends. I noticed Dano from across the room and was hoping I was going to get to talk to him. We ended up dancing the night away and the rest is history!

When Dano and I first started dating, we would meet at Alice Keck park for lunch frequently as this park was very close to where I was working. Dano thought this would be the perfect location since this was where it all began! I was told that we would be taking our dog Murphy to the park with our favorite books and few snacks to spend our afternoon relaxing and reading. The park was VERY crowded and he was trying to find a quiet area to pop the question. So...we wandered around for about 45 minutes as he was trying to find the perfect spot! Finally, he found the perfect moment! Dano got down on one knee and... here we are! It was perfect and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way!
