Lizzy Dreifuss

Maid of Honor

As Sylvia's oldest friend, Lizzy and Sylvia attended Pre-K through eighth grade together. Although the two went separate ways in high school, they remained close and reunited when they lived only two floors apart in Lathrop Hall at Mizzou. From two floors to two blocks, Lizzy and Sylvia followed each other next to Brentwood Forest, where they shared many memories. With Lizzy now living in Denver, the two remain close through long phone calls and frequent trips to visit and pick up right where they left off.

Patrick Cantwell

Best Man

As Danny's oldest friend, Patrick and Danny lived barely a few blocks away from one another growing up and spent nearly every waking moment together. Even after Danny left Immacolata to attend Chaminade, he remained closest with Patrick and the rest of his Immacolata friends, which continued throughout high school and even into college and beyond.

Libby Hudson

As one of Sylvia's oldest friends, Libby has been a part of Sylvia's life since high school where they met on the St. Joseph's Academy Cross Country team and later played on the school's Racquetball team together. Noticing a pattern, Libby likes to say that Sylvia followed in her footsteps by joining her at Mizzou and rushing Chi Omega. It was only fitting with this pattern, Libby become Sylvia's big sister at Chi O. Libby likes to say that she set Sylvia and Danny up (she didn't) as Libby and Danny serve on the Project Wake Up board together, but we all know Danny's charm serves as the true origin of this romance.

Matt Potter

Groomsman

Matt is another one of Danny's long-running Immacolata friends alongside Patrick and Andrew, and the four could typically be found at either Danny's or Matt's houses in Brentwood at any given moment. Years beyond growing up together, Matt pulled off the astronomically impossible feat of breaking both of his hands/arms mere months after Danny did the exact same thing in college. Before getting married to his wife Monica, Matt lived with Danny at his house in South City.

Lauren Weyerich

Sylvia met Lauren on a summer evening at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater just before starting college. Sylvia was excited to meet Lauren, because Lauren and Sylvia's best friend, Lizzy, would be roommates in just a few short weeks. Once at Mizzou, the two's friendship was forged over many meals at Dobbs Dining Hall and Penny Pitcher evenings. Recently, Lauren followed her dream of teaching for Chicago Public Schools, giving Sylvia a reason to visit the Windy City.

Andrew Genetti

Danny met Andrew when Andrew moved to St. Louis and started attending Immacolata in the first grade. The long-running theory is Danny helped introduce Andrew to his wife, Kelly, via AOL Instant Messenger in grade school, and now they are golfing buddies, drinking buddies, dinner party buddies and much more.

Frances Fechter

As one of Lauren's friends from high school, it was only natural that Sylvia and Fran would cross paths. What started as a friendship from many Mizzou tailgates has since evolved into a shared love for the St. Louis Battlehawks. With many of their college friends moving out of state, Fran and Sylvia have coined themselves the St. Louis for Lifers and are rapidly expanding their monthly dinner club group to accommodate fellow Lifers.

Alex Lindley

Groomsman

Alex and Danny knew each other in high school, but didn't grow close until senior year of college, when Alex launched the mental health nonprofit, Project Wake Up. They lived together in a Downtown loft while Danny began his career and Alex finished law school as they shared the pursuit of producing a feature-length documentary, Wake Up: Stories from the Frontlines of Suicide Prevention. Lauren Smotkin

Lauren (affectionately known as Smotkin, Smot or Smotty) and Sylvia met in an economics class shortly after Lauren transferred to Mizzou sophomore year. Their friendship began with Lauren offering Sylvia a cough drop, and was later cemented when they went to Chipotle on Lauren's birthday (for a study session, of course). Now, many years after graduation, they remain close despite living on different continents. Last year, Danny and Sylvia took a trip to London to visit Lauren and her fiance, Tony, and are excited to return for their wedding next summer.

Blake Wayman

After becoming best friends on high school senior year spring break in Cabo, Blake and Danny both pledged Beta at Mizzou in what has become a friendship for the ages. Now, Danny and Blake are both full-fledged members of the St. Louis Recruitment Team, focused on moving their friends from across the U.S. to St. Louis. They have dreams of one day owning a "friend-de-sac," allowing their friend group to never be apart again.

Kasey Wayman

When Sylvia met Danny, she quickly also met his zillion friends pretty soon thereafter. One of the first girlfriends she met was Kasey, married to Danny's groomsman Blake. While Sylvia and Kasey loosely knew of each other in college, the two quickly hit it off quickly bonded over their shared sisterhood of both being Chi Omegas and having attended St. Joseph's Academy. Kasey and her husband Blake, like Sylvia, lived in Brentwood and frequented the neighborhood watering hole, OB Clark's. Sylvia and Kasey grew closer over the years throughout the many friend trips, but the two really bonded when they sat at the same blackjack table on Sylvia's first trip to Vegas. Today, the couples have made a pact that when one goes to Vegas, the other is always invited.

Jack Meyerhoff

What was initially a hate-hate relationship while attending rival high schools, Jack and Danny were forced to like each other when they both pledged Beta at Mizzou. Since then, hate-hate evolved into love-love to the point that Jack and Danny roomed together sophomore year in college, with many late nights of FIFA going down between the two of them.

James Moffitt

Groomsman

Danny and James both pledged Beta at Mizzou, and lived together during COVID in the notorious "Dudes on Devonshire" house. James is responsible for introducing Danny to the wonders of a Hannibal, MO Fourth of July, and is also the first person to witness Danny and Sylvia kiss. Sorry about that.
