We decided to go to 3 cities in Italy to celebrate our 5th anniversary: Rome, Florence and Napoli. On the day of our anniversary, we arrived in Florence to beautiful weather and lively vibes. Later that night after dinner, we decided to do some late night exploring but her feet were hurting so we headed home to change shoes. As she was changing shoes, I went to our balcony that had a beautiful view of the famous Florence Duomo and called her over. The rest is history and we're excited to have you all be part of this journey. TLDR - We went to Italy for our 5th anniversary and Danny proposed on their Florence balcony with views of the Duomo.

Danny was visiting his cousin Yuli at Binghamton University for Halloween weekend when he was introduced to her roommate, Sofia Sainz. Her face was painted like a Day of the Dead Catrina and she was wearing a costume that Danny thought was Beatlejuice. Despite being introduced alongside her old boyfriend, Danny couldn't keep his eyes off her. Little did they know 7 years later the universe would bring them together again to start their journey in life.
