What To Expect?

Answer

This will be a casual wedding celebration at a small reception hall. This is a reception only, because we are having our ceremony in California the week prior. There is no dress code, but please wear clothes (it's not that type of party... yet). There will be a very loose schedule, including dinner service at 7pm, maybe a speech or two, and likely some dancing. Otherwise it's just a gathering designed to bring us all together, catch up, and celebrate! Seating will be first come, first serve, and there is a small patio for some fresh air. Limited open bar (see details below).

Drinks?

Answer

Duh. We will have coolers/counters full of various beers, seltzers, ciders, and wines, open for grabs! (please be responsible and considerate) Hard alcohol will not be provided, you godless savages. Bring your own ;) Those who do not wish to partake will have non-alcoholic beverage options like tea, coffee, sodas, juices, and a couple of non-alcoholic beers.

Also duh! There will likely be small appetizers from 6-7pm, with dinner service beginning at 7pm. The menu will be classic wedding food, more details to come.

Are Children Welcome?

As much as we love your little ones, we want everyone to be fully present and stress-free, so we have decided to make this an adult-only occasion.

What Do I Wear?

Answer

Dress comfortably for sunny Kentucky summers (weather permitting)! Since it does cool down later in the evening, we recommend having a jacket or sweater on deck.

The venue is part of Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. When you come to the entrance, the reception building is on the left.
