There is limited parking at the welcome party and wedding ceremony and it will be easiest for guests to take one of the shuttles from Bigfork or Polson. Street parking is available on Friday. On Saturday, please park at Flathead Lake Cherry Growers (address below). There will be a van to take guests to and from the wedding at the Cherry Plant. There will be a shuttle service from Polson and Bigfork to transport guests to and from the welcome party (Friday) and the wedding (Saturday) at designated pick-up spots - see below. The Polson shuttle will pick guests up from the Red Lion Ridgewater Inn (Address: 209 Ridgewater Dr, Polson, MT 59860) and the Kwataqnuk Resort (Address: 49708 US-93, Polson, MT 59860). The Bigfork shuttle will pick guests up from Bigfork High School (Address: 600 Commerce St, Bigfork, MT 59911) and the Mountain Lake Lodge (Address: 14735 Sylvan Dr, Bigfork, MT 59911).
Friday night attire is "Best Western" - in homage to Montana, we ask you to wear what you might wear to a rodeo. Denim, sundresses, "Jorts," cowboy boots and hats, sneakers, flannels, a bandana etc. Please wear shoes you feel would feel comfortable walking down a driveway in.
The attire on Saturday is cocktail.
Whichever works best for you and your schedule! The drive from Seattle to Polson is ~8 hours. The flight from SEA to MSO or FCA is ~1.5 hours.
You can fly into Glacier Park (FCA) or Missoula (MSO). Glacier Park airport is 35 minutes from Bigfork and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Polson. Missoula airport is 1 hour and 45 minutes from Bigfork and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Polson.
While it might be easiest to rent a car, both the Missoula and Glacier Park airports have paid shuttle services available. You will not need a car to get to our welcome party or wedding as long as you are staying near one of the shuttle pickup locations.
