The Wedding Website of Lauren Isenhower and Daniel Garza
Question

Can I RSVP now?

Answer

Please do! With the holiday season and the Wedding being so close to New Years, we really have no idea how many of you lovely people will be able to come! RSVP'ing as soon as you can will help us loads as we get closer and continue planning. Tap on the RSVP tab to do so!

Question

Is there a Hotel Wedding Block?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding block at Cavalry Court and The George. They are right next to each other and very close to St. Mary's Catholic Center. To book in the Hotel Block, tap on the 'travel' tab and follow the instructions!

Question

What is the Nuptial Mass?

Answer

The Holy Mass is the principal act of worship in the Catholic Church. It is the primary way Catholics worship God as a community. A Nuptial Mass is simply the Holy Mass that includes the Sacrament of Matrimony - the wedding! The Catholic Mass is full of centuries of tradition. Much of it you will recognize directly from the Bible! At the Mass there will be Scripture readings, music, communal prayers, and the celebration of the Eucharist, which was established by Christ himself at the Last Supper. Lauren spent a lot of time putting together the Wedding program - please follow along with the Mass and read about the different parts! Feel free to sit, stand, and kneel with the congregation, or simply remain seated if that is what you prefer. If you have any questions about the mass, feel free to ask! We are so excited to worship alongside all those so dear to us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-Tie Optional Let's have a party! Take this as your opportunity to dig your tux out of the closet or go buy yourself a pretty gown! Black-Tie Optional (to Lauren and Daniel) simply means dress your very best - but don't feel the need to dress in a way that would make you uncomfortable! For women - a floor-length gown or a fancy cocktail dress. We would love to see jewel tones and winter inspired colors. The wedding colors are black, white, brown, and sage green - feel free to dress on theme! The bridesmaids will be in black satin. For men - a tuxedo OR a dark suit. If you don't have a tux, don't worry about going and buying/renting. A dark, formal suit will do the job! Please keep in mind that for Mass, we will be in a sacred space with the Blessed Sacrament present! Pair sleeveless/strapless dresses with a matching shawl or cardigan. It can also be quite chilly in the church, so if you are susceptible to cold, bring something extra! We also plan on having a DANCE PARTYYYY during the reception, so bring a change of shoes if you want to really boogie on the dance floor! We highly recommend boots 🤠

Question

are plus ones allowed?

Answer

If you have been given a plus one, it will say so when you go to RSVP!

Question

Where should I send gifts?

Answer

We are so beyond grateful for everyone's love and support during this time! The biggest gift we can ask for right now is your prayers as we prepare to receive and enter into this sacrament! If you feel so inclined to gift us with something - first of all THANK YOU! To answer your question - many of the links on our registry will let you either ship straight to us or straight to you. It is totally your discretion whether you want to bring the gifts to the wedding, but it would probably be easier for you to send them straight to the address on the registry!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the Nuptial Mass and the Reception will be held indoors. Weather depending, the cocktail hour may take place outside.

Question

Can I take pictures during the Nuptial Mass?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos be taken during Mass. We would love for all guests to be completely present and for your beautiful faces to be seen in the photos when they come out! Our photographer - Trinity - will take photos during this time.

Question

Can I veil at the Nuptial Mass?

Answer

Yes! For those who may not know, Veiling in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament is a personal devotion some Catholic women follow. I have been veiling for 3 years! So if you, like me, regularly veil, then I ask you to veil during the Mass. It would make me so happy seeing them!
