The simplified answer is cocktail attire! Cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets, and slacks. If you're up for something fun, we'd love to see you in garden cocktail attire! Think spring and pastel colors, floral print dresses and ties, etc. Just please, no white as the primary color. Everything will be outdoors, so dress accordingly. The reception space will be covered and have fans, but it will likely be warm.
The ceremony and cocktail hour spaces are on grass. For anyone wearing heels, we recommend a thicker heel or wedge!
If you're looking for a place for the weekend, we have a room block at the Hyatt Place Chapel Hill/Southern Village, which is about 15 minutes from the venue and within walking distance of multiple restaurants. Click the "view" button in the travel tab or call the hotel at (919) 929-9511 and mention the Fitzpatrick Fonte Wedding. The room block rate is available through April 17. Book your room ASAP to guarantee a room at our rate. If there's no rooms available in the room block, reach out to us!
Yes! We'll be providing a bus to the wedding venue for those staying at the hotel. More details about bus departure times will be available at the hotel.
We kindly request that everyone arrive at the latest by 3:45 p.m. for a 4 p.m. ceremony start to give time to park, walk, and find a seat. We will be serving some refreshments and champagne starting at 3 p.m. for anyone who arrives earlier.

There is plenty of free parking! You will be greeted by a parking attendant who will direct you where to park. You are able to leave your vehicle overnight if needed, so long as you pick it up by 11 a.m. on Sunday.

We are keeping the evening to ages 15+, with a few family exceptions for the ceremony. Enjoy a date night and come party with us!
We are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to “(Your Name) & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.
We want you all to be with us in the moment, so we are requesting for all phones and cameras to be put away. We'll have a moment during the ceremony for you to take photos. We have an incredible photography and videography team that will be capturing the ceremony, and we'll share their work with you when we get it back!
