It was in the fall of 2022 that an anomaly in our cosmos was detected. It was said to be the grossest, mushiest, most romantic event that ever occurred. The first communications of Katarina Palacios and Daniel Gobel. Maybe it was because she is the most gorgeous goddess that still slips between the worlds of electronic music and our reality, or perhaps it's his charming nature and rat puppet Borris that they decided to go on that first date...it was destiny. They met in person at the coffee shop Deja Brew on October 17th, 2022. Their single meeting turned into a lunch outing at Seoul Garden. From that point forward their adventures together kept becoming more and more galactic. They've traveled here and abroad! Gone to multiple proms! Watched hundreds of movies! And have had thousands of gourmet dinners! It was on October 17th, 2023 that Danny organized a grand adventure of clues and surprises for Kat to follow. At the end was a man waiting with a ring, right at that first coffee shop that they met. And now we are thrilled to celebrate with y'all and to share in many future adventures with everyone here! Can y'all believe she said yes?!

Danny and Kat met on Hinge in fall of 2022. Maybe it was his devilish good looks, maybe it was that really cool Mothra dress she wore in one of her pictures, but when they met in-person for coffee, that was it. They were cooked. Even from the early days, they began dreaming of a life together. All the places they could go, all the things they would see, and all the stuff they'd hang on the walls, all of the stuffed animals on the couch... So when a teary Danny knelt down on the floor of that coffee shop one year later, with a ring he had meticulously designed, and asked Kat to marry her, it was the easiest "yes" in the world. They're going on three years now and they celebrate each other every day. And they're going to keep doing it even though it's mushy. Now we're delighted to celebrate our mushiness with all our friends and family!
