FAQs

Question

When Should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible. It's important for us to know how many people we are providing for and whether or not we need to save you a seat or forward it to the people we wish could have made the guest list. If you do not RSVP, we will assume you are not attending, but it would be really helpful to get that information directly and promptly.

Question

What's the Dress Code?

Answer

Formal attire—think full length gowns, sophisticated styles, suits, or button-ups and slacks. Danny’s side: Greens, earthy browns, and golds. Kami’s side: Blues and silvers. Attending for both sides: Dress in either color or a fun mix! Here is an inspo board for those who love some direction: https://pin.it/2Gx3gMFve Please leave the jeans and sneakers at home if you can. Help us allow the bride to shine brightest for the groom by not wearing shades of white or dresses based in white.

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

When you go to RSVP on the website, it will specify whether you have a +1 if it says Guest along with your name. Otherwise, only bring those named in your invite/RSVP.

Question

Are Kids Welcome?

Answer

Ceremony: No children under 5 We have a kids room for them to play in during the ceremony and be safely cared for. Reception: Kids welcome!

Question

What's the Weather Like?

Answer

It will be cold. It’s December in the PNW and it could almost be anything. We have 3 different weather plans, but be kind to yourself and wear good coats/covers/shoes/things with sleeves.

Question

What's on the Menu?

Answer

The lovely aunties from Danny’s side will be providing us with the wonderful winter soup that is pozole. Kami requested this and is so excited to have it at the wedding. If you have any dietary restrictions, please include them when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!

Question

Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?

Answer

No - During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you keep your phones tucked away so you can be fully present. Don’t worry, we’ve got a fantastic photographer and videographer capturing it all! After the ceremony, snap away! We’ll have QR codes around the venue so you can add your pics to our shared photo album and help us capture the fun!

Question

Where Are You Registered?

Answer

Check out the registry page on this website! It's really helpful for us to receive gifts through this platform 🤍

Question

Will Transportation Be Provided?

Answer

We will be providing transportation between the st johns area of Portland and the venue down in Canby. There will also be a drop off at the after party. Please let us know in the RSVP if you would use this.

Question

Where Should I Stay?

Answer

We currently recommend staying as close to St Johns as possible to be located close to the couple, the transportation, and the welcome party. Some recommendations: St Johns Inn, McMenimins Kennedy School (ADA friendly), and the Holiday Inn at Columbia Riverfront(ADA friendly). Reach out to Kami and Danny if you would prefer to book a BnB close to them.

Question

I Still Have Questions!

Answer

Feel free to reach out to us directly. Reaching out to both of us in a group text is the best way to get an answer.

Question

One Last Thing...

Answer

We invited each of you because you're an important part of our lives and our journey together—we truly want this to be a joyful, meaningful day shared with people we love and trust. That said, we won’t tolerate any form of hate, bigotry, or behavior that makes others feel unsafe or unwelcome. We also ask that everyone drink responsibly and treat the space, the vendors, and each other with care. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave if their behavior crosses the line. Let’s keep the good vibes going!

Question

And hopefully it goes without saying… but kindly save the shades of white for the bride.
