Travel Tips

If you’ve never been to Boracay, here’s the simplest way to get there and what the trip usually looks like:     1.    International Arrival: If you’re flying in from outside the Philippines, you’ll land at either Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) or Cebu’s Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB). From either airport, you’ll take a short domestic flight (about 1 hour) to Caticlan Airport (MPH).     2.    Transfer to Boracay: After landing in Caticlan, you’ll take a quick 5 minute ride to the Caticlan Jetty Port. There, you’ll board a boat for a short and scenic 10-20 minute trip to Boracay Island.     3.    Arrival on the Island: Once you reach the Boracay port, a vehicle will take you to your hotel. Most hotels can arrange the transfers from the airport to the island, but you can also use public transportation if you prefer.

✈️ Travel Tip: Getting to Boracay Made Easy For the smoothest trip to our wedding destination, we recommend flying with Philippine Airlines or United Airlines. 🇵🇭 Philippine Airlines (PAL) PAL offers direct flights to Manila from Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO), Honolulu (HNL), and New York (JFK), with convenient connecting flights straight to Caticlan (MPH), the main and most hassle-free airport for Boracay. 🇺🇸 United Airlines United offers direct flights to Manila from Chicago (ORD), Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), and Houston (IAH). If you choose United, please note you’ll need to book a separate domestic flight from Manila (MNL) to Caticlan (MPH) via Philippine Airlines or Cebu Pacific Air. Whichever route you choose, aim for Caticlan Airport (MPH) for the quickest and smoothest transfer into Boracay. 🌴✨
